This venue is located on Water Street, just off the Foyle Embankment, and from the outside it looks more restaurant than bar. Having heard a lot of good stuff about it, it was time to visit and see for myself. The first thing I noticed was how small it is, as the building is much bigger. On my visit it was a beautiful Summer's evening and a lot of customers were sitting outside on the footpath, but I managed to get a stool at the bar. It was very hot, but yet the ceiling fans were not turned on. Because of the heat, I only had the one drink and left, but will look forward to returning.

No trip is complete without it. Local hangout with boho arts feel, but not pretentious or hipster. Great music selection and live music. Staff is stellar. BEST BAR.

At the weekend there is always a live dj in the bar and the tune selection is always top notch, catering for a wide eclectic taste. It can become quite lively later on in the evening when the place is rocking. So if you'd like a quite drink I'd recommend visiting earlier on in the day. If you like trad. music then come on a Sunday afternoon where live musicians gather for a jamming session from around 3 until 9pm. Visited April 2015
